Easter and More

Elley's poor little puppy has pretty much become a new doll for her. She gets carried every where and feed everything. Poor thing!!!
Pixie playing house.
Elley and Daddy with Elley's Easter basket from Grandma and Grandpa Bullock.
All the girls. I think we are running on sugar highs at this point.

Easter this year was really fun with Elley. She really didn't understand what was going on but she loved all of the great candy that came with the confusion. In this last picture Elley got caught in the Easter baskets before it was time. She looked like she had just robbed a bank but with chocolate all over her face. So here are some fun pictures.

A Much Needed Update

I have not been a very loyal poster in 2009. I hope that will improve for the New Year. Our holidays were filled with lots of crazy events and non-stop going. But it has been great. Elley bug has really grown up and is finally walking. Unfortunately we are starting the year with a cold and new teeth. It has been a bit miserable for a few days. Our good ole doc says within a few days she will feel better. Santa brought Elley more then enough toys and goodies. She wasn't really sure what to think of the whole Christmas morning but I think when all of the excitement settled down she really enjoyed it. We were joined by all of our family at the cemetery on Christmas Eve to give our Christmas wishes to our Dalton this year. We lite his tree and everyone lite a candle. It really looked beautiful and it stayed that way all night and through Christmas Day. I have such a great feeling of peace at that cemetery. I don't feel sad or lonely but happy and okay with the whole situation that he is buried there. I feel blessed that we are able to do special things for him and take Elley to see him. I also feel blessed that many other great people are buried there, it is like a family watching us. We can feel the warmth of there spirits there. I tell Kendal I wish I could build a house by it so I could be closer (in a sense closer the Dalton). I hope your holidays were as great as ours and I also hope the New Year brings greatness to all of us. I think it is time for a great year the world deserves it.

October Fun

So my child is obsessed with chocolate. So, after her meals we have been letting her have a few chocolate chips and she loves it. Kendal took this picture because she was a mess. She had chocolate all over her body. So she went straight from dinner to the bathtub.
She also is a bit of a ham in the bath.
Kendal got a season elk tag and on the opening day this is what he got. He was pretty proud of himself although it was a lot of work to get him out. He mounted the horns and they really look really neat.

Halloween was a blast this year here are the fun pumpkins that we carved. Elley really took in the whole experience. She even loved all of the scary decorations.
This is the first year that we have dressed up with our kids and it really was a blast. All we were missing was our tin man and we would have had the whole Wizard of Oz crew. Kendal even got into putting together is costume. I think that he looks pretty authentic.
We went and trick or treated to our Dalton. We took some cute pics and Elley gave his pictures lots of cute kissed.

She is so funny when we go to visit. She plays with his toys and seems to feel at home. I love that. She has been so much fun this year. I can't wait for Christmas.

Family Pictures

Well it was time for the yearly family pictures. So we all got dolled up and went up Dry Fork in hopes we could get some good shots. Well we succeeded they truely turned out so good (thanks for steph and mindy). Poor Elley bug wasn't feeling so well that day so we retook her pictures on a nicer day. They too turned out great. I can't believe how big my little girl is getting.

August Madness

Oh my it has been a long time since I have blogged. I can't believe that time goes by to fast. There has been so much going on this August. Our little Elley turned one years old. She also had surgery on her mouth to correct her cleft palate. We went to Durango, Colorado for Kendal's Grandma and Grandpa Dalton's 50th wedding anniversary. We had a baby shower for Josie and she got lots of cute stuff. Kendal and I have just celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary. And, it was also the two year anniversary of Dalton's passing. I can't believe two years have come and gone. I don't feel like it has been two years, some days it feels like yesterday and some days it feels like he is still here. I sometimes think when Elley was born she brought some of him with her. She knows him I truely believe that. She kisses and giggles at his pictures when we walk by them. I know he watches her and I feel blessed that he does. So here is the mass of pictures for the month. I promise I will get better at blogging more often but this summer has been crazy.Kendal, Jasmin and my Dad went in to the Fairy Caves in Glennwood, Co. They saw lots of neat things and Ken got some cool pictures. The one above is called King Knog.

We all went on this awesome bike trail that followed the river from our camper park and into Glennwood. It was a lot of fun. We stopped by the water to take come pictures.

We had a baby shower for Josie and my Mom had bought all of the little girls matching shirts to go with the little sweet pea theme.
When we went to Durango, Co we all went down the alpine slides and I tried out the bungie tramp. It was really fun.

I had to put this picture in I thought it was so cute of Kyler. The kids had all been playing so hard at Elley's birthday party. It was such a good time.
Elley enjoying birhtday cake.
Here are both of her cakes I made the bubble gum cake and Denise made the princess cake. They turned out so cute. I can't believe my little girl is alreay one years old.

YellowStone National Park

So we took a trip to Yellowstone National Park this July. It was such a great time. We went clear to the top of Wyoming and into Montana making various stops along the way. Elley bug was such a good sport and very patient with all of the different activities that we experienced. The ride home a a little long but after many stops for ice cream we finally made it. I gave my pictures to Steph and she enhanced some of them so here are some of my favorites from the trip.
